Does Snow support cloud applications?

Snow discovers SaaS application usage in several ways, using API connectors, SSO and our browser extension. The browser extension captures use of free applications, including ChatGPT. Additionally, the Snow solution discovers the use of applications running in standard Kubernetes containers.

Now in beta, Snow can also discover BYOD eligible Windows Server and SQL Server workloads running in Azure instances.

Does the Snow solution offer the ability to report on software costs and use by organizational unit?

Snow has an organizational structure feature for devices and related applications. It is a hierarchical structure that can contain information such as geography, department and cost centers. License pools can be allocated by organization, enabling applications to be assigned by region or by department. The Snow solution also supports role-based security, which enables administrators in different cost centers or organizations to only access the information related to their organization.

Does discovered data from Snow help with sustainability initiatives?
